Opening the door to new experiences through music, emotion & storytelling.

Abbey is a professional filmmaker, photographer, and musician specializing in composing music for film and television. She has worked in Los Angeles, Germany, and most recently back in her hometown of Bozeman, Montana. She has collaborated with everyone from Montana ranchers and farmers on up to the White House Chief of Staff and the Ambassador to the United Nations. Abbey firmly believes that everyone has a story worth telling and enjoys the process of bringing those stories to life, whether that’s through video, photography, or writing music to express what words and images alone cannot. She has experience directing Live TV, creating short and long form documentaries, editing and directing animated shorts, as well as composing music for all genres of film. When she's not behind the camera, she enjoys rock climbing, skiing, skydiving, and playing with her dog, Ghost.
Abbey has a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Production from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music. She has always loved music and often thought about pursuing a career in classical piano performance. However, her love of storytelling won out in the end and she made the move to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking. After a decade of creating short films and documentaries for Montana State University and Montana PBS, she grew tired of digging through stock music libraries for her projects. Drawing on her classical piano background, she decided one day that “I can probably do this myself”. She found Berklee Online and began the process of creating music for video. Today Abbey loves composing for piano solo, live performances, as well as writing for film and video projects.
